Okay, first off, baking? It's not just a hobby;

it's a passion!

Growing up, my mom was known as the 'Cookie Lady' as she would often bring cookies to the local GED classes. You could always count on our house having freshly baked goodies to eat (although let's be real, sometimes they turned out to be “surprise” recipes when mom forgot an ingredient or two.) Holidays? Oh boy, our oven worked overtime!

Fast forward to me sharing my baking creations with roommates, friends and coworkers who had the delightful job of taste-testing my pumpkin bars with chocolate chips and those irresistible chocolate crinkles.

But 2019 marked a significant shift. The digital baking universe introduced me to the magical realm of buttercream-decorated sugar cookies. From the first oven beep and frosting swirl, I was hooked! 🍪 It spiraled into a journey of mastering the art and deep-diving into the Insta-baking community. I was learning and growing and loving every moment of it.

By now, you’ve read all about the evolution of 'Baking Emporium.' But here's the tea: in between the layers of success, I encountered challenges. That pesky self-doubt? It crept in, even with my business degree and a nearly decade-long dance in the digital marketing world. My brain teemed with innovative ideas, but my inner critic tried to dim my shine.

I continue to battle imposter syndrome, but know that my dream lives in building this business and uplifting bakers and the small business community.
